By using the Schetech website or platform, you agree to the collection and use of information in line with this policy.
1. Who we are
Schetech is an AI-native operating platform for construction and property businesses, built and operated by BeauDev Group, based in South East Queensland, Australia. Questions about privacy can be directed to hello@schetech.com.au.
2. What information we collect
We collect information that is reasonably necessary to provide and improve our services. This may include:
- Contact and account information — name, email address, company, role, and details you provide when you request access, register, or contact us.
- Project and business data — the construction, financial, programme, drawing, claim and related data you or your organisation choose to connect to or upload into the platform.
- Usage information — how you interact with the website and platform, including device, browser, IP address and log data, collected to keep the service secure and working.
- Communications — records of your correspondence with us.
3. How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- provide, operate, maintain and improve the Schetech platform and website;
- set up and manage your access, account and early-access requests;
- respond to your enquiries and provide support;
- keep the service secure and detect, prevent and address technical or security issues;
- meet our legal, regulatory and contractual obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use the commercial project data you connect to the platform for any purpose other than providing the service to you and your organisation.
4. AI processing
Schetech uses artificial intelligence to help analyse and present the data you connect. Where AI is used to process data on your account, it operates on the information you provide to deliver the platform's features. 5. Disclosure to third parties
We may share personal information with:
- Service providers who help us run the platform (for example hosting, infrastructure and security providers), under obligations of confidentiality and only as needed to deliver the service;
- Your own organisation and the parties you authorise within your project (for example, on a project the relevant builder, owner, financier or subcontractor within their permitted access);
- Authorities or others where required or authorised by law.
6. Where your data is stored
We host the platform with reputable infrastructure providers and apply access controls, encryption in transit, and tenant isolation so one customer's data is not visible to another. Some service providers may store or process data outside Australia; where they do, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with the APPs. 7. Data security and retention
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet our legal obligations, and take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it when it is no longer required.
8. Your rights
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete. To make a request, contact us at hello@schetech.com.au. We will respond within a reasonable period.
9. Cookies and analytics
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember your preferences and understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect some features.
10. Complaints
If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first at hello@schetech.com.au so we can try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top shows when it was last changed. Material changes will be notified through the website or platform where appropriate.
Schetech is in private beta. This policy is current as at the date shown and is kept under review as the platform matures.
