Terms of Use

The terms on which you may use the Schetech website and platform. Please read the section on AI-generated outputs — it matters.

Last updated: 19 July 2026 · Governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Schetech website and platform (the "Service"), operated by BeauDev Group ("Schetech", "we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

⚠ AI-generated outputs are decision-support, not professional advice

Schetech uses artificial intelligence — including specialist "crew" agents covering areas such as quantity surveying, cost, programme, contract and finance — to help analyse and present your project data. All outputs, estimates, figures, summaries, drafts and recommendations produced by the Service are decision-support tools only.

They are not professional quantity surveying, engineering, legal, accounting, tax or financial advice, and must not be relied on as a substitute for advice from a suitably qualified and licensed professional. AI can be incomplete or wrong. You remain responsible for independently reviewing, verifying and approving any output before you act on it, and for obtaining professional advice where appropriate. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Schetech is not liable for any loss or damage arising from reliance on AI-generated outputs.

1. Who may use the Service

You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to act for the organisation you represent. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

2. Beta service

Schetech is in private beta. The Service is provided on an evolving basis: features may change, be added or removed, and the Service may occasionally be unavailable. We may set up, adjust or withdraw access at our discretion during the beta period.

3. Your data and content

You (and your organisation) retain ownership of the project data and content you connect to or upload into the Service. You grant us the limited rights necessary to host, process and display that data in order to provide the Service to you. We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to provide any data you connect or upload.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

5. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, brand, "Schetech" name and logo, and all related content, is owned by BeauDev Group or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of those rights to you. "Schetech" is a trade mark of BeauDev Group.

6. Third-party integrations

The Service can connect to third-party tools (for example Procore, Autodesk ACC, HammerTech, Xero, MYOB and Microsoft 365). Your use of those tools is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, or the accuracy of data they provide.

7. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that outputs will be accurate or complete. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Schetech and BeauDev Group will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or any loss of profit, revenue, data or business, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, our liability is limited to resupplying the Service or the cost of resupply.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably need to protect the Service or other users. You may stop using the Service at any time.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that State.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date shows when they were last changed. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be directed to hello@schetech.com.au.

These Terms are provided in good faith and in plain language. They are a general statement of the basis on which the Service is offered and do not constitute legal advice.
